Granny Smith's

For three generations Glenwood Orchards thrived in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. In the prosperous days of old--when their harvests yielded more apples than any knew what to do with--the Smith Family decided to open Granny Smith's Restaurant to make use of their surplus of apples. During the great recession in 2008, financial hardship plagued southeastern Virginia and the Smith Family's beloved restaurant.

 

Now, thanks to the venture of enthusiastic young entrepreneurs, the Smith Family is happy to revive Granny Smith's new microbrewery and restaurant! Using their age old recipes with a new brewing twist, we hope that all are able to share and enjoy the many crisp tastes!
